Omnivore

The word “omnivore” comes from the Latin omni, which means “everything” and identifies an animal that will eat “everything”. These animals consume a wide variety of foods, including both plant and animal matter, as well as seeds, nuts, insects or even other invertebrates. Given their often-opportunistic nature, omnivores will sometimes approach human communities in order to feed off of the scraps we leave behind. Good examples are bears, raccoons or even skunks.
